Dr. Gopinathan Raju

Background

Dr. Gopinathan Raju is a Consultant Anaesthetist and Pain Specialist. He obtained his MBBS degree from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, India in 1995. He completed his postgraduate training in Anaesthesiology and obtained his Masters Anaesthesiology from University Malaya in 2003. He further subspecialized in the field of Pain Medicine in Australia at the Professor Tess Cramond Multidisciplinary Pain Centre, Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, Greenslopes Private and Mater Private..

Experience

Dr. Gopi is the first doctor in Malaysia to be awarded the Fellow of the Faculty of Pain Medicine, Australia and New Zealand College of Anaesthetist by training and examination. He has also completed a Pain Medicine Fellowship (Interventions) from Axxon Pain Medicine Australia and obtained a Certificate of completion, (subspecialty) training in Pain Management from the Ministry of Health, Malaysia. Dr. Gopi has special interest in interventional pain management and his key area is offering a NON SURGICAL option to treat chronic neck pain and back pain.

Mission

There are lots of people in Malaysia suffering from chronic pain and they continue to live in misery as their pain takes control of their lives. Dr. Gopi offers a multimodal evidence based pain management to help those suffering from chronic pain.
